Darren Livingston

Darren Livingston has spent most of his life in Church Rock, New Mexico, where he currently lives with his family. This community is not only home to him but also to his father and grandfather, from whom he learned the art of silversmithing at the age of thirteen. After attending public high school and enjoying his education, Darren became serious about his craft and began earning a living through silversmithing.

A hallmark of Darren’s jewelry is the precision with which each piece is constructed and finished, a quality often described as "clean" workmanship. The stones are set evenly into tight, fine silver bezels, and there are no sharp edges or signs of careless craftsmanship. His creations reflect the dedication of an artist who takes no shortcuts, ensuring that every piece leaving his studio embodies a high standard of quality. From simple single-stone pendants to intricately designed multi-stone dragonfly necklaces, Darren's work showcases the finest traditions of Navajo silverwork and a deep sense of pride in his heritage.

Sonoran Turquoise: Mexico

Sonoran turquoise, mined from the Campitos Mountain near Cananea, Sonora, Mexico. This region produces several distinctive types, including Sonoran Gold, known for its vibrant colors like aqua blue, lime, and two-tone blue and green with a golden-brown matrix; Sonoran Rose, a natural bright blue turquoise; and Sonoran Blue, valued for its hardness, shiny pyrite flakes, and black oxide veins.

Am I Buying Authentic Native Jewelry?

We prioritize honesty and transparency regarding the origin of our jewelry. Each piece on our site includes a detailed description, and if an item is not native-made, we clearly indicate that. While we do offer a small selection of imported jewelry, we do not support the importation of pieces that replicate original native designs.
