Annie Hoskie is a celebrated Navajo artist living near Shiprock, New Mexico, renowned for her intricate turquoise and silver creations that often feature traditional Navajo symbols and motifs. Golden Hills mine is located in Kazakhstan produces turquoise known for its unique periwinkle blues and beautiful burnt umber matrix. This hard, high-grade material yields one of the most chemically pure turquoises available. Mining occurs only in winter due to summer flooding in the area.
