Bobby Johnson is a respected Navajo silversmith based in Church Rock, New Mexico, a community known for its rich tradition of Native American jewelry-making. As one of the "elders" in the silverworking community, Bobby is highly esteemed for his expertise and production skills, often sought after for guidance by fellow artisans.

Bobby’s journey in silversmithing began in the early 1970s, learning the craft from his older siblings, who are also skilled silversmiths. Growing up in a family dedicated to this art, he developed a profound love for working with silver and turquoise that has only deepened over the years. Now in his sixties, Bobby remains as productive as ever, creating unique designs that blend traditional techniques with his personal style.

Royston Turquoise - Nevada

Royston Turquoise originates from the Royston mining district near Tonopah, Nevada, and has been mined since the early 1900s. This turquoise originally comprised four old claims located within the Royston range: Bunker Hill, Easter Blue, Oscar Wehrend, and Royal Blue. Kingman Turquoise - Arizona

The Kingman Mine, located near Kingman, Arizona, is an active turquoise mine that has been in production since the 1880s, following its discovery by S.A. Colbaugh in the Aztec Mountains. The Colbaugh family continues to mine, process, sort, and distribute Kingman Turquoise. Most Kingman Turquoise is porous and requires processing for jewelry, with only about 3% of the stones being naturally hard enough for direct use. The mine is renowned for its blue matrix turquoise. Understanding Our Measurements

The length listed for bar necklaces is measured from clasp to hook, including the width of the bar. This total length does not directly reflect how the necklace will sit when worn. To more accurately determine where the necklace will sit, subtract the 'bar width' measurement from the 'length end to end" measurement.

For necklaces featuring extension chains, the length is measured from the clasp to the shortest option. There for if an extension length is listed it is in addition to the listed necklace length, allowing for adjustable sizing.
