Michael Calladitto
Michael Calladitto is renowned for his traditional Navajo-style jewelry, characterized by the use of sterling silver and turquoise, featuring intricately stamped designs. He has a deep appreciation for turquoise, believing that the stone enhances his creativity and skill at the bench. Most of the decorative stamps he employs in his jewelry are handcrafted from tempered steel sourced from old car engines. Michael repurposes components like piston rods and valve stems, meticulously cutting designs into the steel with tiny files and other tools to create his unique stamps.
Raised in the village of Pruitt, New Mexico, Michael is a member of the Meadow People Clan and has Apache heritage as well. Primarily brought up by his grandparents, he draws inspiration from the wild and remote landscapes his grandmother, a respected natural healer, introduced him to during his childhood.
Spiny Oyster:
Spiny Oyster is a vibrant shell material commonly found in orange, red, and purple hues, with rare yellow variations. The colors are influenced by the mollusks' diet and the water's depth and temperature. It can be distinguished from coral by the white variations in its shell. Predominantly sourced from the Sea of Cortez (Gulf of California), Spiny Oyster is used extensively in Native American jewelry. Read More

When Can I Expect My Order to Ship?
We don't like to wait for our online orders & feel you shouldn't have to either. We ship Monday through Friday and strive to process orders within 24 hours. Most orders placed by 4:30 PM are shipped the same day. Please note that during peak seasons, like Christmas, shipping may take a bit longer. When you check out, you should see an estimated delivery date. If you have any questions or need to confirm shipping times, feel free to call or text us!
Am I Buying Authentic Native Jewelry?
We prioritize honesty and transparency regarding the origin of our jewelry. Each piece on our site includes a detailed description, and if an item is not native-made, we clearly indicate that. While we do offer a small selection of imported jewelry, we do not support the importation of pieces that replicate original native designs.
