Tawney Willie-Cruz

Tawney Willie-Cruz embarked on her journey to become a master jeweler at nearly thirty, learning to transform silver and stone into the stunning jewelry for which her family is well-known. She began her training under the watchful eye of her father, the esteemed silversmith Lonnie Willie, alongside her husband, Allen Cruz, and her younger brother, Cooper. Tawney feels fortunate to have been raised with the richness of two vibrant Native American cultures: her father's Navajo heritage and her mother's Sioux ancestry from South Dakota. She beautifully incorporates elements from both traditions into her jewelry designs, which she describes as a blend of classic styles with a contemporary twist.

Her favorite techniques include what she calls the three S's: saw work, stamp work, and shaping. Tawney often dedicates eight to twelve hours at her workbench, reveling in the creative process. In her downtime, she enjoys a variety of activities, including shopping, hiking, cooking, and, of course, indulging in more shopping!
When Can I Expect My Order to Ship?

We don't like to wait for our online orders & feel you shouldn't have to either. We ship Monday through Friday and strive to process orders within 24 hours. Most orders placed by 4:30 PM are shipped the same day. Please note that during peak seasons, like Christmas, shipping may take a bit longer. Am I Buying Authentic Native Jewelry?

We prioritize honesty and transparency regarding the origin of our jewelry. Each piece on our site includes a detailed description, and if an item is not native-made, we clearly indicate that. While we do offer a small selection of imported jewelry, we do not support the importation of pieces that replicate original native designs.
