Bobby Johnson
Bobby Johnson is a respected Navajo silversmith based in Church Rock, New Mexico, a community known for its rich tradition of Native American jewelry-making. As one of the "elders" in the silverworking community, Bobby is highly esteemed for his expertise and production skills, often sought after for guidance by fellow artisans.
Bobby’s journey in silversmithing began in the early 1970s, learning the craft from his older siblings, who are also skilled silversmiths. Growing up in a family dedicated to this art, he developed a profound love for working with silver and turquoise that has only deepened over the years. Now in his sixties, Bobby remains as productive as ever, creating unique designs that blend traditional techniques with his personal style.
His pieces are celebrated for their quality and craftsmanship, earning him a loyal following among collectors of Native American jewelry. Bobby’s passion for his craft ensures that his creations will continue to be cherished for years to come.
Pink Conch:
Queen conch (Aliger gigas), also called pink conch, are found throughout the sea grass beds and coral reefs of the Caribbean, the Bahamas, and Bermuda. A. gigas has previously been classified as Strombus gigas and Lobatus gigas, and is a member of the family Strombidae, the true conches. These large mollusks can reach up to 12 inches in length over their 40 year lifespan, and are highly valued for their meat even today. Current conservation efforts, such as the recently proposed listing of the species as Threatened or Endangered, seek to prevent over-harvesting.

Am I Buying Authentic Native Jewelry?
We prioritize honesty and transparency regarding the origin of our jewelry. Each piece on our site includes a detailed description, and if an item is not native-made, we clearly indicate that. While we do offer a small selection of imported jewelry, we do not support the importation of pieces that replicate original native designs.
