Kathleen Livingston Chavez

Kathleen Livingston Chavez was born on December 17, 1958, in Church Rock, New Mexico, where she still resides with her husband, Lorenzo Juan. She began her silversmithing journey in 1974, initially creating earrings, rings, and bracelets. By 1994, Kathleen expanded her artistry to include unique, high-end jewelry designs. She expresses great enjoyment in this evolution of her craft, stating, “It is more fun to make because of the amount of thought and imagination you have to put into it.” Today, she operates out of Gallup, New Mexico, continuing to innovate and inspire through her jewelry.

Am I Buying Authentic Native Jewelry?

We prioritize honesty and transparency regarding the origin of our jewelry. Each piece on our site includes a detailed description, and if an item is not native-made, we clearly indicate that. While we do offer a small selection of imported jewelry, we do not support the importation of pieces that replicate original native designs.
