Rose Martin (Navajo)
Rose is Navajo from Pinedale, New Mexico where she lived most of her young life.
She was taught her bead making artistry by her aunt Nellie who was one of the original Navajo handmade bead artists. Everyone in Rose's family made beads and worked on silver jewelry, including two of her children.
Rose has been making beautiful silver beads for 34 years, making her living doing what she learned in her youth and following in her aunties footsteps.
Rose's beads are very carefully made in order to produce a beautiful and symmetrical bead. All her necklaces are perfect and nicely priced.
